Bhopal 15 January 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will launch the work of vaccination for prevention against Corona infection in the state from the Trauma Centre at Singrauli district headquarters at 10.30 am on January 16. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the world’s largest vaccination campaign to protect against Corona in the entire country at the national level.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the vaccine is like Sanjeevani Booti to protect against Corona virus. Citizens will get the benefit of this sequentially. About 1.25 lakh health care workers will be vaccinated in the first phase in the state. He said that Covishield and Covaxin are completely safe. Chief Minister Chouhan urged the administrative officers of the districts, public representatives, religious leaders, social workers and media to ensure that no misleading information or rumours about the vaccine spreads. All the citizens should extend support to make this campaign successful.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that necessary arrangements have been made in the entire state for the campaign starting from January 16. According to the protocol fixed for vaccination, citizens will take two doses of the vaccine. The second dose will be applied, 28 days after the first dose is administered.

It may be noted that the indigenous vaccine made in India has been approved by the best scientific institutions of India and abroad after thorough testing and analysis. In the first phase, health workers will be vaccinated, in the second phase, front line workers. In the third phase, all citizens above 50 and those under 50 years but suffering from diabetes and high blood pressure, will be vaccinated – Window to News
