Eligible government servants should be promoted soon: CM Chouhan

Bhopal 20 January 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that government employees of all departments of the state should be promoted as per eligibility soon. For this, the General Administration Department should take prompt action without delay by finding solutions as per rules unanimously. There should be no more delay in this work.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that in relation to the progress of departmental works and schemes, officers should not write that instructions were issued, they should inform what work has been done. It is not the responsibility of the higher office to issue instructions to the subordinate office. Ensuring that the work is done is also must.

Chief Minister Chouhan was reviewing the works of General Administration Department in Mantralaya today. Minister of State for General Administration, Inder Singh Parmar, Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, Additional Chief Secretary General Administration Vinod Kumar, Principal Secretary Manoj Govil, Principal Secretary Manish Rastogi, etc. were present in the meeting.

There should be no encroachment on State’s property outside the state

Chief Minister Chouhan directed that the properties of Madhya Pradesh located in other states should be regularly monitored and taken care of, so that they are not encroached upon. It was informed that Madhya Pradesh Public Assets Management Department has been constituted as per the recommendation of the roadmap of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh.

Every government employee should have IT skills

Chief Minister Chouhan said that every government employee must be proficient in information technology. Necessary training should be given in this connection.
Lump sum payment of dues on retirement
Chief Minister Chouhan directed that all government servants should be paid lump sum payment of all their lawful dues on retirement. This is the main point of employee welfare.

E-office system should be implemented in the state

Chief Minister Chouhan directed that e-office system should be started in the state. First of all, e-office system should be implemented in Mantralaya. For this, a time bound programme should be made and necessary training must be given. Ministers, MLAs should also be trained in this regard. Digitalization work of service books of government servants should also be completed soon.

Caste, income and bonafide resident’s certificates must be received on time

Chief Minister Chouhan directed that those who have applied for caste, income, bonafide resident certificates etc. should be get these on time. The General Administration Department should supervise this work.
