Women of SHGs will be given the opportunity to procure wheat: CM Chouhan

Rs. 2167 crore will be spent on setting up industries in Dewas in next 5 years
No effort will be spared in the development of Dewas district
CM Chouhan dedicates and performs bhoomi pujan of development works 
 
Bhopal 27 January 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that no effort will be left for the development of Dewas district. A complete action plan has been prepared for this work. New industries will be set up in the district. An amount of Rs. 2 thousand 167 crore will be spent on establishing industries here in the next five years. This will provide employment opportunities to 30 thousand youths. Local industries will be promoted.

Chief Minister Chouhan performed bhoomi pujan and dedicated development works in Dewas on Wednesday. Chief Minister Chouhan in the beginning performed kanya pujan and lauded disabled girl Anjali Singh and gave her blessings of becoming a singer.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that women of self-help groups will be linked with self-employment to make them financially strong. They will be given an opportunity to procure wheat on support price. The women of the state made two crore masks, soap and PPE kits during the Corona period. Women of self-help groups are being given the opportunity to make uniforms of school children. The factories which will be set up to make nutritious food for the Anganwadi centres will be run by women of self-help groups.

Dewas will become like Singapore

Chief Minister Chouhan said that a cluster will be developed for the development of Dewas. Here a super corridor will be built in the western region at a cost of Rs 290 crore and AB Road will be rejuvenated at a cost of Rs 240 crore. Dewas will become like Singapore.

Film shootings will be possible

Chief Minister Chouhan said that an inter-state bus stand will be developed in Dewas. Meetha Talab will be beautified, Mata ki Tekri and Shankargarh hills area will be developed. This will encourage adventure and tourism. Efforts will be made to start shooting of films here. Parks and sports stadiums will also be built here at a cost of Rs 10 crore.

Supply of Narmada water will be started through taps in three months

Chief Minister Chouhan said that under the Jal Jeevan Mission, Narmada water will be provided to every house in Dewas city through taps within three months. A master plan will be made for all gram panchayats in the district.

Amount to be retrieved from chit fund companies

Chief Minister Chouhan said that strict action will be taken against history sheeters, miscreants and criminals. Those who misbehave with women will not be spared. Property of chit fund companies will be confiscated and funds will be returned to the victims.
