Chief Minister Chouhan distributed 454 appointment letters under Mukhyamantri Covid Anukampa Niyukti Yojana

Bhopal 30 July 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that during the second wave of Corona, we have lost many of our employee colleagues. The pain is great; we cannot bring back our departed colleagues, but will give all possible help to their families. The government is always standing with you. Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the beneficiaries of Mukhyamantri Covid Anukampa Niyukti Yojana through video conferencing from Mantralaya today. Appointment letters were distributed to 454 beneficiaries of the scheme.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that under the scheme, compassionate appointments are being given to the families of all permanent employees, ad-hoc, work-loaded, contingency, daily wage earners, contractual, outsourced employees if they die of corona. All the collectors should ensure that the eligible persons get appointment letters on time, they do not have to run here and there.
Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Prabhuram Choudhary, Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, Additional Chief Secretary General Administration Vinod Kumar and others were present on this occasion. Ministers, officers and beneficiaries of the scheme participated virtually from the N.I.C. centres of all the participating districts.

1593 applications received

A total of 1593 applications have been received so far under the scheme, out of which 454 have been given appointment letters. The process if the remaining is in progress. Maximum 27 appointment letters were given in Indore, 26 in Mandsaur, 22 in Bhopal, 21 in Hoshangabad and 18 in Shajapur.

Chief Minister Chouhan extends best wishes

After receiving the appointment letters, Chief Minister Chouhan extended his best wishes to the beneficiaries. Appointment letters were handed over to Sushri Nidhi Ahirwar, Ashutosh, Kushal and Satish in Indore, Prakhar, Anand and Vaibhav in Balaghat, Ashutosh, Naveen and Amit in Ratlam, Sushri Pinky Vishwakarma, Sushri Neha Sharma, Aditya and Prince Sahu in Bhopal, Sushri Rachi, Prakash Parte, Sushri Rajeshwari, Kuldeep Uikey and Aditya in Dindori, Sushri Jyoti Prajapati, Prafulla, Aman, Sushri Manju Uikey and Ganeh Naagar in Hoshangabad, Sushri Sarita, Deepak Jatav, Naman Gautam and Atul in Sagar, Tripurari, Kartikeya, Abhay Pandey and Sushri Divya Namdev in Sidhi, Sonu Kewat, Ravendra Kumar, Yogendra Singh, Ramji Kushwaha and Sushri Malti in Shahdol, Sushri Shraddha Dore, Abhimanyu, Ajay, Ravi, Manish Gehlot and Shubham in Gwalior and Mayank in Shajapur, in the presence of Chief Minister Chouhan.

Mukhyamantri Covid Anukampa Niyukti Yojana

Mukhyamantri Covid Anukampa Niyukti Yojana has been implemented to give compassionate appointment to the next of kin of a government servant or service employee of the state who dies due to corona. For the convenience of the applicants under the scheme, arrangements have been made to apply online on the MP e-service portal services.mp.gov.in. All the regular permanent employees/work-loaded and casually paid/daily salaried/adhoc/contract collector rate employees of the state and all the workers taken by the departments through outsourced service are eligible under this scheme.
