Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Chambal Express way will pave a way for all round development of all the three districts of Chambal division. Economic activities will be started on both the sides of this road. People will get employment and all round development of the area will take place. CM Chouhan was addressing the meeting held here today related to Chambal Express way.
Chouhan mentioned that construction of Chambal express way will accelerate the pace of development of ravine area. It will be a lifeline for Sheopur, Morena and Bhind districts. Development and employment oriented commercial activities should be started on both the sides of about 300 k.m. long road. He issued instructions to identify maximum government land for this. Full cooperation will be given in land acquisition on time. Keeping in view the employment, also an action plan will be made to ascertain which economic activities to be carried out.
It was informed that construction of Chambal Express Way is proposed parallel to Chambal river. On both the sides, industrial centres, logistic parks, smart city, agriculture produces and food processing centres are proposed. This road starting from State Highway no. 6 Pali passing through Hirapur, Birpur, of Sheopur district, Jhundpura, Brijgarhi, Chhinwara, Mathurapura, Khandoli, National Highway -3, Gadora, Jhakona, Isah, Dandoli, Barvai, Racched, Raipur of Morena district, Kuretha, Nagra-Porsa, Kanera, Ater, Khipona, Kheri, Surajpur, Bijora Rama and Badhapura to National High way no. 2 is total 300 k.m. long.
Minister for Public Works Rampal Singh, Chief Secretary B.P. Singh, Additional Chief Secretary Forest Deepak Khandekar, Principal Secretary Public Works Pramod Agrawal, Proncipal Secretary to CM Ashok Varnval and other Officers were present in the meeting.-WTN
