Mahua Less than Rs. 30 per k.g. will not be allowed for Sale in State

CM Chouhan Participates in Mass Marriage Function at Tribal Region Piplani  
Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan assured Gond Community that Mahua less than Rs. 30 per k.g. will not be allowed for sale in the state. He further mentioned that shoes, slippers and bottles for cold water will be given to people engaged in tendu leaves collection for their convenience. CM Chouhan was addressing the mass marriage function held at village Piplani of remote tribal region of Nasrullaganj block district Sehore under the Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah/Nikah Yojana. Marriages of 98 tribal girls were performed in the mass marriage function.

Politely refusing the welcome, Chouhan mentioned that this is a marriage function of my daughters; I am Gharati (Brides’side), accord welcome to Baraatis. Chouhan blessed newly wedded couples for their happy marriage life. He further mentioned that such an arrangement would be made under the Ladli Laxmi and Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah/Nikah Yojana that these schemes should be continued forever in the state. Moreover, Chouhan said that separate cheques of Rs. 3 thousand to each newly wedded couple will be given for smart phones.

Minister in-charge Sehore district Thakur Rampal Singh, Chairman Forest Development Corporation Guruprasad Sharma, Chairman Warehousing Corporation Rajendra Singh Rajput, President Janpad Smt. Dulari Bai Dhurve and Local Public Representatives were present on the occasion.-WTN
