At 78, Farmer Sardar takes part in Narmada Yatra on bicycle

Bhopal: Name –Sardar, Profession – Farming from Bantia, Age- 78 and morale – elevated. High high morale gave him the confidence to accompany the Narmada Seva yatra on his 20-25 –year- old bicycle. Known for his endless faith and belief, Sardar from Kakadkheda village of Ichawar tehsil in Sehore district, Sardar has unending and deep faith towards the Narmada.
Terming the Chief Minister ‘Namami Devi Narmade’- Seva Yatra started such a big initiative in the direction of water conservation. Sardar said that the Yatra is a Mahakumbh to save the river in which he too got a chance to join. Having depended all his life on his bicycle, at 78, Sardar has no illness. His pace on his bicycle is still the same as it was earlier. When the Yatra reached Nemavar, he had already cycled 130 kms away to Kakadkheda Mata to meet his relatives. Sardar is happy with the arrangements for the Seva yatris. When the Yatra halts at any village, he leaves for the next destination on his bicycle.-WTN
