Directives to Add New Eligible Families in Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana Issued

Bhopal: Food Department has issued directives to add names of new eligible persons in Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana. Directives have been issued by the Food Commissioner Vivek Porwal to all the District Collectors. Separate instructions to determine the ineligibility of persons have been issued in the past.
It is mentioned in the directives of Food Commissioner that names of new verified persons of the concerned district in the same number can be added in place of names of ineligible persons deleted from the portal. All the District Supply Controller/Officer will ensure that food grains should not be distributed to the beneficiaries more than the status as of May 1, 2015 in any case. After this, priority should be given to new verified persons of scheduled tribe and caste.
Moreover, after issuing eligibility note to the families of these categories, action should be taken to add or delete category wise families’ names of other categories.-WTN
