Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan participated in ongoing 1,111 Kundi Atirudra Mahayagya and Madbhagwat Katha in village Gamakhar of Basoda block today.
Describing 'Karma' as key for welfare of human life, Chief Miniter Chouhan said that every person should fulfill responsibility with honesty, and it is worship.
Expressing concerns on lesser number of girls in gender ratio in the state, Chief Minister Chouhan said that all society should show unity for protection of girls. He appealed for de-addiction of villages. On Jalabhishek Abhiyan, Chief Minister Chouhan said that more and more water structures should be made for water conservation. He said that no slaughterhouse will be allowed to open. All possible efforts will be made for increase in cow progeny.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that saints are like our sacred books. He said that saints community is guide for unity and human welfare. He described Atirudra Mahayagya like mini-Kumbh. Chief Minister participated in Aarti. Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Rustam Singh, Minister of State Suryaprakash Meena, Member of Parliament Laxminarayan Yadav, MLA Kalyan Singh Thakur, Veer Singh Pawar, District Panchayat President Toran Singh Dangi were present.
Chief Minister Chouhan got blessings of Jagat Guru Ramswarupacharya Ji and Mahamandleshwar Kanakbihari Das Ji. Chouhan released book 'Raghuvansh Kriti' penned by Devendra Raghuvanshi. -WTN
