Yatra Becomes Symbol of Communal Harmony

Muslim Community Hold Yatra’s Flag in Gram Panchayat Farhada 

Bhopal: Narmada Seva Yatra has become an amazing example of Communal Harmony. People of all religions ,caste and creed are taking part in the yatra. The seva yatra which became a symbol of environment conservation is in its final stage now.

Member of Muslim Community came forward and received Narmada Seva Yatra’s flag when it reached Gram Panchayat Farhada of Anuppur district. Expressing their faith towards resolutions of Narmada Seva Yatra, they raised both their hands while administering pledge for plantation, environment conservation, organic farming, Beti Bachao and School Chalein Hum campaign. A 35 year old Shahida Begum who runs a small grocery shop in Farhada mentioned that yatra being undertaken by the government is a campaign to link common men with water conservation. Moreover, her husband Mohammad Dahim Khan said that he will emulate the objectives of Yatra i.e. cleanliness and plantation etc. and will encourage others.

Khan said that he does not own a big land. He will protect Khamher, Mahua, Sarai beside other saplings which he has planted in a small piece of land. He informed that he does not have faith in confusions prevailing in the Muslim community towards education of girls. Khan further mentioned that despite limited resources, he will make efforts to encourage his 9 year old daughter Shifa to become a doctor and to render services in the social service sector. Shifa mentioned that she is studying hard to be a doctor and she will establish her identity in education sector as per the intention of the Chief Minister of the state.-WTN
