Crores of Saplings will be Planted During Plantation Maha-Abhiyan on July 2 -CM Chouhan

CM Chouhan Gives Blessings to 312 Newly Wedded Couples at Khetgaon of Anuppur Distt. 
Programme Held Successfully Despite Adverse Weather 

Bhopal: Arrangement of legal provision is being made to keep Narmada River incessant. Ban will be imposed on all types of mining at Amarkantak, the origin point of Narmada river. Bargad, Saal and Neem like trees will be planted in place of Eucolyptus which could absorb more water in rainy season and release it gradually in the river. CM Chouhan said this while adressing the Jan-Samvad held during the ‘Namami Devi Narmade’ Seva yatra at village Khetgaon of district Anuppur today.
Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Trivendra Singh Rawat, Union Minister of State for Environment Anil Madhav Dave, Union Minister of State for Finance Arjun Ram Meghwal, State’s Minister for Forest Dr. Gourishankar Shejwar, Film Actress Smt. Padmini Kolhapure, Famous Danseuse Smt. Sonal Mansingh, Film Actor Raza Murad, Artist of Faizabad Smt. Vandana Mishra, Social Activist of Mumbai Virendra Yagnik, Well Known Ramkatha Vachak Smt. Mandakini Didi, Sadhvi Smt. Pragya Bharti, Sant Swami Somgiri of Bikaner, MLA Phundelal Singh Marko, Chairman Madhya Pradesh Mineral Development Corporation Shiv Choubey, Vice President Jan Abhiyan Parishad Pradeep Pandey and several Public Representatives were present in the Jan-Samvad.
Subsidy on Organic Fertliser will be Given like Chemical Fertiliser

CM Chouhan said that organic farming will be encouraged in the villages situated at the banks of river Narmada. Arrangement will be made to provide subsidy on organic fertlisers like chemical fertilisers. Protection of river, environment and water is a duty of every citizen. Campaigns will be condcuted to protect other rivers of the state from next year. Such trees and grass will be planted on the banks of Narmada river which could absorb more water. All the sections of the society have understand the importance of Narmada yatra and have rendered full support to this campaign. CM Chouhan further mentioned that aim of the yatra will not be fulfilled by just enacting law for Narmada river conservation until people’s direct participation is ensured.

CM Chouhan mentioned that implementation on action plan has been started to make the Narmada river’s origin point Amarkantak completely pollution free. Also work to plant saplings of biosphere medicinal trees will be carried out in Amrkantak.

On the occasion, Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Trivendra Singh Rawat said that India was known as Vishwa Guru only because of rivers like Ganga and Narmada.
He congratulated 312 newly married couples for their future life. Rawat also congratulated Chief Minister Chouhan for launching the world's biggest river conservation drive 'Namami Devi Narmade'. He said that agriculture growth rate of Madhya Pradesh is the highest in the country due to Narmada river. He said that despite busy schedules of Chief Minister of a state, Shivraj Singh Chouhan not only launched drive for river conservation but he is participating in the Yatra for last five months almost every day which is praiseworthy. Rawat said  that our ancestors had given holy and constant flowing rivers in inheritance and weather but we will give polluted rivers to next generations in inheritance. He said that rivers there are in every country but they are worshiped only in India. Rawat said that Namami Devi Narmada campaign launched by Chief Minister Chouhan is getting blessings from the nature as well. Because of this reason, weather is not so hot in May. Villagers are enjoying showers.
Union Minister of State for Environment Anil Madhav Dave said that every citizen has responsibility to make rivers pollution-free. He appealed to all that they should not pollute surrounding rivers. If anyone is found causing pollution, he should be strictly opposed. He said more trees on the banks will be increase water level in rivers. Therfore we should plant saplings near rivers and surrounding houses and maintain them.

Union Minister of State for Finance Arjun Ram Meghwal said that environment has been damaged due to tree felling and rising industrialization. More and more plantation is need of the hour. Narmada Seva Yatra has become a good platform to aware citizens of state and country towards environment protection. He said that Chief Minister Chouhan has launched the world's biggest river conservation campaign at the right time. Next generation would not forgive us if we do not generate awareness towards environment and river conservation now. He said that Madhya Pradesh is having highest agriculture growth rate because of better water management.

Heavy winds were blowing before arrival of Chief Minister Chouhan in Khetgaon of Anooppur district. Villagers and Narmada Seva Yatri were worried over drizzling.

Villages were skeptical about arrival of the Chief Minister and other guests by air route. Villagers were happy after arrival of Chief Minister Chouhan, Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Rawat and other special guests and programme was held successfully.-WTN
