Give Suggestions on Priorities of State for Three Year Work Plan of NITI Ayog

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that all departments should give suggestions to three year work plan of NITI Ayog keeping in view the conditions and requirements of the state. State’s stand should be presented before the NITI Ayog firmly.

Chouhan further mentioned that work plan sent by the NITI Ayog should be studied deeply. Suggestions should be given keeping in view the priorities of the state government. All the departments should give suggestions on points which they wanted to include in the work plan. Holding a meeting with the NITI Ayog, a team of Madhya Pradesh will discuss this matter. Moreover, a special campaign in the identified districts should be conducted under the Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao campaign.

It was informed that all the rural areas of the state will be made open defecation free till March -2018 and urban area of the state will be made open defecation free till October -2017. Soil Health Cards will be distributed to all the farmers till May 30. In urban area, food grains are being distributed on the basis of Adhaar card under the Public Distribution System. Moreover, 30 schemes of Smart City are being implemented in the state.

Chief Secretary B.P. Singh, Additional Chief Secretary Finance A.P. Shrivastava, Additional Chief Secretary Forest Deepak Khandekar, Additional Chief Secretary Panchayat and Rural Development R.S. Julaniya, Additional Chief Secretary Scheduled Caste Development Prabhanshu Kamal and Principal Secretaries of all the concerned departments were present in the meeting.-WTN
