Amid Scorching Heat or Rains, People Participating with Enthusiasm in Narmada Seva Yatra

Bhopal: People have strong belief towards lifeline Narmada Ji. In the last leg of Narmada Seva Yatra, there is intensive heat or heavy rains due to change in weather. Whether it is scorching heat in afternoon, or heavy rains, people are participating in Narmada Seva Yatra with full enthusiasm. Yatra set out with society's cooperation for Narmada conservation and to make it pollution-free was welcomed by villagers today on its arrival at village Bhejri from village Khati of Pushprajgarh block. Huge crowd turned up for welcoming the Yatra in Bhejri. Welcome gates were installed for this. Dance groups were presenting songs and dance. Jan-Samvad programme was organised in High School premises in village Bhejri on arrival of Narmada Seva Yatra.
Sadhvi Yogmaya Tirth, Saints, Chairman Minority and Other backward Finance Development Corporation Pradip Patel, MLA Pushprajgarh Phoondelal Marco, Janpad Panchayat President Heera Singh Shyam, Vice President Santosh Pandey, Former MLA Sudama Singh, public representatives, Narmada devotees, villagers of Bhejri and other nearby villages were present in large number on the occasion.
In Jan Samvad, Sadhvi Yogmaya Tirth explained social, religious, spiritual and economic importance of Narmada river. She said that Narmada is carrier of our culture and Sanskaras. Don't let any kind of garbage dumped in its water. Don't pollute Narmada shores and do not let others pollute it. Spread greenery on Narmada shores by plantation.
MLA Phoondelal Marco said that we are very fortunate that we have taken birth at a place near Narmada river. He appealed that we all should work towards cleanliness in Narmada besides its conservation. Narmada Ji has given us all and now it’s our turn that stream of the river should be maintained. Maximum plantation should be carried out for this. Other guests also spoke in Jan Samvad.

Narmada Bhajans were presented by Kabir Bhajan Mandali of village Bahpuri during Jan Samvad at village Bhejri. Singers of the group conveyed importance of Narmada River through Bhajans and message for keeping Narmada clean.-WTN
