State level committee of forest department constituted

Bhopal: State government has constituted state level committee of forest department. Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (forest force chief) will be its chairman.
Other members of the committee include one representative of regional office of Environment, Forests and Climate Change ministry, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (work plan) or its Representative, Director/ Additional Director, Industries Department, Managing Director, Saint Ravidas Handicraft and Handloom Development Corporation, Managing Director, Forests Development Corporation, or its Representative. Chief Forests Conservator/ Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Marketing) will be its member secretary. The committee has been constituted under wood based industries (establishment and regulation) directives 2016 under Environment, Forests and Climate Change Ministry.-WTN
