PM Narendra Modi given warm welcome at helipad in Amarkantak

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Om Prakash Dhurve and senior officials welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi with a bouquet at the helipad in the Indira Gandhi National Tribal University on his arrival at Amarkantak in Anuppur district. Dhurve presented him with an attractive garland made of Mova grass in Baiga Chak as per tribal tradition.
Prime Minister reached the helipad at 1.35 in the afternoon to take part in the completion ceremony of “Namami Devi Narmade” – Seva Yatra. He was accompanied by Union Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Narendra Singh Tomar.
Prime Minister Modi gathered information about different courses and number of student from the University Chancellor Professor T.V. Kattimani. Commissioner Shahdol division B.M. Sharma, IG Police D.K. Arya, Collector Shri Ajay Sharma and SP. Sunil Kumar Jain were present on the occasion.-WTN
