MP sells 87.4 lakh unit power to U.P and 26 lakh unit daily to Chhattisgarh

Bhopal: Keeping in view the need of power, Madhya Pradesh has sold 87.4 lakh unit power to Uttar Pradesh. Total 361 lakh unit power was sold today through Indian Energy Exchange (IEX) by the MP Power Management Company.
MP Power Management Company has also obtained the order of sale of 26 lakh unit power daily to Chhattisgarh Power Holding Company till May 31. Meanwhile, the company will sell total 500 lakh unit power to Chhattisgarh. The company sold total 3,593 lakh unit power through the Power Exchange from May 1 to May 15.
After fulfilling the needs of the state, the company sells remaining power through the Power exchange and other medium. This reduces the cost of power being supplied to consumers.-WTN
