4 die in motorcycle accident in MP

Bhopal May 17 (IANS) Four persons including three of a family died when a motorcycle flew off a bridge and fell on to a pile of construction pipes in Madhya Pradesh s Damoh district on Wednesday morning police said.

Mitthoo Athiya resident of Machindari Samera village and his wife Uma with son Golu and a relative were riding on the motorcycle from Chhattarpur when the bike being driven at a high speed swerved out of control.

The bike went off the road due to the high speed crashed into the bridge parapet and fell on a pile of construction pipes lying below Batiyagarh police station in-charge Chandrakant Patel told IANS.

All four died on the spot. Their bodies have been sent for post-mortem Patel said.
