Bajaj Finance s net profit up 43%

Mumbai May 17 (IANS) Bajaj Finance on Wednesday reported a surge of 42.57 per cent in its net profit after tax (PAT) to Rs 449.15 crore for the fourth quarter (Q4) of the 2016-17 fiscal ended March 31.

On a standalone basis the company s net PAT for Q4 stood at Rs 449.15 crore as compared to Rs 315.04 crore reported during the corresponding quarter of last fiscal.

During the quarter under review the company s total income from operations stood at Rs 2 665.02 crore -- up 39 per cent -- up from Rs 1 916.23 crore reported during the same period of 2015-16.
