Invite Indore on June 5 Environment Day
Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today met Union Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu in his office. Chouhan invited Naidu for Indore visit on June 5 Environment Day. Indore and Bhopal have been awarded with first and second prize in the clean survey held recently. Residents of Indore will be awarded on Environment Day alongwith plantation. Naidu has accepted the invitation of Chief Minister Chouhan.
Chouhan informed the union minister that DPR for metro rail project in Indore and Bhopal has been given and consent is awaited. Chouhan requested that it should be approved soon. Twenty percent amount of total cost of the project will be borne by the state. Next 20 percent share will be of the centre and remaining amount will be collected through loans. Chouhan demanded land from the union government for construction of one more Madhya Pradesh Bhawan in national capital Delhi. He said that present Madhya Pradesh Bhawan is small and there is need to construct additional rest house.-WTN
