Bhopal 31 May 2022: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Indore will be made the best city in the world. It will be made the IT of the country. A Startup Park will be set up on the Super Corridor at a cost of Rs 4.5 crore. International level startup eco-system will be developed. An international airport is coming up in Indore. In the next 10 years, Indore will overtake Bangalore and Hyderabad.
Chief Minister Chouhan attended the Gaurav Diwas program celebrated on the date of birth of Devi Ahilya in Indore today. This seven-day Pride Mahotsav had a colorful end today. Famous singers Ms. Shreya Ghoshal and Mr. Manoj Muntashir gave performances in this program organized at Nehru Stadium.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that Indore, which has topped in cleanliness five times, is now in the process of hitting a six. It is the crown jewel of Malwa. A huge memorial of Goddess Ahilyabai Holkar will be built in Indore. The trust to be formed for its operation will be headed by Sumitra Mahajan.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that on the land of Indore, Lata Mangeshkar was born. The 1500 seater auditorium to be built at a cost of Rs 24 crore in Rajendra Nagar will be named after Swar Kokila Lata Mangeshkar. Music College located near Chiman Bagh ground will be upgraded and its name will also be named after Lata Mangeshkar.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that a master plan for traffic management is being prepared in Indore. The youth of Indore have formed large number of startup companies, for which they deserve congratulations. Chouhan informed that the economic corridor to be developed from Bijasan Mandir to AB Road will provide employment to lakhs. The area being developed on 2 thousand acres in Depalpur tehsil in Pithampur has the potential of huge employment.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that Indore is a city of donors. We have decided that no one will beg in Indore. Will rehabilitate beggars. For those who are handicapped and sick, shelter-places, ahilya-dham and Shiv-kutir will be made for them.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that we have taken a pledge that no child will remain malnourished in the state. I myself go out to ask for toys and other materials for the children of Anganwadi. People have shown great enthusiasm. The residents of Indore have provided checks worth Rs 8.5 crore for Anganwadis today. For this I congratulate the city of Indore. Will eradicate malnutrition from Madhya Pradesh.
Chief Minister Chouhan started the program by garlanding the statue of Devi Ahilya. He honored various personalities and talents of Indore. Chouhan also unveiled the Indore Pride Anthem.
