ITI building dedicated in Rewa
Bhopal: Industry Minister Rajendra Shukla and Minister of State for Technical Education Deepak Joshi today dedicated the newly-constructed building of Industrial Training Institute in Rewa. The building has been constructed at a cost of Rs 3 crore 77 lakh. MP Janardhan Mishra was present at the programme.
Deepak Joshi said that modern ITIs will be opened for the skill enhancement of youths in the state. He said that two years of ITI course will be considered at par with next two classes for students. He said laptops will be given to those who give computer training in ITIs. He told that Madhya Pradesh is the first state to have trained girls to become motorcycle mechanics. Joshi said that best ITIs will be opened at ten places of which one will be in Rewa. Technical Universities will be opened in Rewa, Jabalpur and Ujjain. A Global Skill Park is coming up in Bhopal.
Rajendra Shukla said that youths have got a chance to move ahead through “Rozgar ki padhai-chalen ITI” campaign. He said that in the near future industries in a huge number are to be set up in Vindhya region which will increase employment opportunities.
Engineering College Governing Body meeting
A meeting of the Governing Body of Rewa Engineering College was held in the presence of Rajendra Shukla and Deepak Joshi. Joshi instructed to complete all ongoing construction works in the college premises on time and with good quality. Joshi also reviewed the progress of “Rozgar ki padhai-chalen ITI” campaign.-WTN
