Poor persons getting wheat-rice at Re 1 per kg Finance Minister Malaiyya tours rural areas

Bhopal: Finance Minister Jayant Malaiyya has said that state government is a well-wisher of the poor. Poor persons are being provided with wheat-rice at Re one per kg in state. State government has taken care of every single need of the poor. Now the poor persons will be provided houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Malaiyya was addressing villagers during a public relations campaign in Damoh district on Sunday. He toured villages including Pipariya, Tikri and Ballarpur.
Finance Minister performed bhoomi-pujan of Rs 14 lakh worth Secondary School building at Pipariya village and Rajiv Gandhi Seva Kendra worth Rs 13 lakh 85 thousand at Tikri village.
Finance Minister said that in the last 13 years the state government has undertaken noteworthy works in all areas. He said that higher education of talented students will not be affected due to dearth of funds. State government will now on pay the fees of students who acquire more than 75 per cent marks for admission in IIM, IIT, Medical and other prestigious institutions.
Youth should become skillful for employment
Finance Minister said to rural youths that they should enhance their skills along with their degree for employment. He said that state government has decided to begin trade as per need in ITI in state. He said that youths will be given guidance. The Finance Minister also took information from the villagers on implementation of government schemes.-WTN
