Six seminars to be held during the summit
Bhopal: Global Skill and Employment Partnership Summit is going to be held at Hotel Amer Green situated on Hoshangabad Road on June 1 in Bhopal. There will be six seminars in the summit.
The inaugural session in the summit will be at 9.30 a.m. Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Rajiv Pratap Rudy will be present as the chief guest. The inaugural session will be presided over by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The summit is being organized with the objective of increasing opportunities of skill development and employment for youth in the state. At least 1500 participants will be present from all over the country and abroad at the summit.
There will be six sector seminars in the summit. These include skill development and employment opportunities in the manufacturing sector, employment oriented higher education in Madhya Pradesh, self-employment opportunities in state, opportunities and challenges in recruitment of skill manpower, opportunities of tourism skill development and employment and skill enhancement and employment of women in Madhya Pradesh. Participants will sign MoUs also during the summit.
TRIDENT Group Chairman Rajendra Gupta, Mahindra Holidays and Resorts Chairman Arun Nanda, Lapp India Managing Director Marc Jarrault, AK Goyal of Hatchet, Shakti Pumps Chairman Dinesh Patidar, Piramal Enterprises Chairman Ajay Piramal and VE Commercial Vehicles CEO Vinod Agrawal will speak on new dimensions of skill development in this era.
During the summit, voluntary organizations related to Corporates, industry, service sector, banking sector and skill enhancement will give suggestions on increasing employment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh. Efforts will be made to create employment opportunities for 2 lakh unemployed persons through Intention to Employ during the summit.

So far 2578 registrations have been done through website at the Global Skill and Employment Partnership Summit. In this 527 companies have got 3 lakh 52 thousand and 295 persons registered to make employment available to them under Intention to Employ and 332 companies have got 2 lakh 96 thousand and 129 youths registered to provide skill development under Intention to Skill.-WTN
