Coal Mines’ Water should be Utilised for Drinking and Fisheries

MoS Pathak in District Planning Committee Meeting
Bhopal: Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Entrepreneur (Independent Charge) and Minister in charge district Annuppur Sanjay Satyendra Pathak took a meeting of District Planning Committee in Anuppur. Reviewing the pending works worth over Rs. 50 lakh, Pathak informed that water of coal mines will be utilized for drinking and fisheries as an innovation in Anuppur district. Water will be provided for drinking after its treatment in filter plant and reservoirs will be constructed to provide water for irrigation.
Pathak issued instructions that all the preparations must be made in advance to prevent water borne diseases during the rainy season. Control room should be made at district and janpad level. Sufficient stock of medicines should be maintained and special attention should be paid towards sanitation. He also laid emphasis on need of activation of mobile hospitals.
Moreover, Pathak gave instructions for awareness drive by malaria raths in malaria affected areas and spray of medicines. MLAs Ramlal Routel, Phundelal Singh, President Jila Panchayat and Collector Ajay Sharma were present in the meeting.-WTN
