Online applications invited till July 31 minority pre-metric scholarship

Bhopal: Online applications have been invited for pre-metric scholarship to newly-enrolled minority students till July 31. Newly-enrolled students of class I to X can submit application till August 31. Online applications can be filled up on national scholarship portal of government of India www.scholarships.gov.in. Link of this portal is available on website of the Government of India www.minorityaffairs.gov.in, and online applications can be submitted.

 Only online applications will be accepted for minority pre-metric scholarship. Off-line applications won't be considered. Target of total 76139 new cases have been set for pre-metric scholarship in the year 2017-18 for Madhya Pradesh. They include 59457 students of Muslim, 2639 Christian, 2336 Sikh, 3243 Buddhist, 8449 Jain and 15 students of Parsi community.

 Information regarding bank passbook with photograph, ration card, PAN card, passport, photograph carrying identity card to be issued and certified by school headmaster/principal and driving licence are mandatory to be given with online application for scholarship by students.-WTN
