Take Stern Action against Persons Misleading Farmers

Bhopal: Minister for Home Bhupendra Singh issued directives for strict action against persons misleading farmers. Make proper security arrangements to maintain peace and harmonious atmosphere in the state.

Singh was reviewing the law and order situation with senior officers of Home department at Mantralaya today. He directed the officials to hold monthly meeting of eminent citizens and social activists at each police station level to maintain peace.

Minister Singh said that a vigil should be kept on persons spreading rumours using social media. Action must be taken against them registering cases. He further mentioned that Station in-charge and Superintendent of Police should take notice themselves in case of increase in crimes. Also a campaign should be conducted against persons possessing illegal arms, he added.

Keeping in view the increase in road accidents, Singh said that an action plan should be prepared for traffic control. Breath analysers should be used more to catch persons driving vehicles under inebriated condition. Singh further said that a campaign should be launched against people driving vehicles under alcohol influence.-WTN
