Tiger of Panna Reaches Bandhavgarh

Bhopal: Once reached on the verge of extinction, tigers of Panna have now started moving to other forest too. The tiger found recently in Bandhavgarh has been confirmed in the form of T-213-21 of Panna Tiger Reserve. It may be mentioned that a photo based ID of tiger cubs born after the re-establishment has been prepared by the Panna Park Management compiling all the available record. The identity of this tiger has been confirmed by that ID.
Regional Director of Panna informed that this tiger was born in December 2013. The tiger moved out from Panna Tiger Reserve after attaining two years of age. The presence of Reserve’s tiger at Bandhavgarh proves that there exists a tiger corridor. Probably, tigers used to move through this corridor in the past also.-WTN
