Finance Minister Malaiyya holds meeting with bank officials
Bhopal: Finance Minister Jayant Malaiyya held a meeting with officials from various departments and bank officials on Sunday and discussed problems being faced by farmers. During the meeting bank officials told that there is adequate fund in every bank.
The bank officials told that if there is any problem in withdrawing money from any bank one can complain on the toll free number. If the problem persists complaint can be registered between 10.30 am to 5 pm on any working day on the toll free no. 18002334035 of State Level Bankers Committee.
Malaiyya said that the necessary action should be taken to get the fund released regularly by NABARD. He said that according to need write to the Union Government and discuss with related officials. Malaiyya said that the fund should be directly transferred to the bank accounts of farmers in mandis.
Additional Chief Secretary Finance A.P Shrivastava, Principal Secretary Cooperatives Ajit Kesari, Principal Secretary Food and Civil Supplies K.C.
