Mandis to remain opened after discussion with Chief Minister Chouhan

Bhopal: A delegation of Madhya Pradesh Anaj Dalhan-Tilhan Vyapari Mahasangh decided to postpone their call for Mandi Bandh till June 30 after discussion with Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Discussion will be held again in July.
 
The delegation under leadership of state president Gopaldas Agrawal and MLA Sudarshan Gupta met the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister heard the traders' issues. He said that the Government will set up centres for cash payment under Income Tax Act, RTGS and NEFT payment and produces to be sold on lower price than the support price. The previous auction system will continue at the places where there is no centre. He assured not to file FIR against anybody. The chief minister said the delegation should have trust for meeting in July. On this, the Mahasangh decided to postpone their call for Mandi Bandh till June 30. Mandis in the state would resume functioning from June 16.
