Chinese shares open lower

Beijing June 22 (IANS) Chinese stocks opened lower on Thursday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.13 per cent to open at 3 152.24 points.

The smaller Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.06 per cent lower at 10 361.34 points Xinhua news agency reported.

The ChiNext Index China s NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises was down 0.16 per cent to open at 1 821.84 points.
