Nandita Das is an actress and director whose name when comes to our mind it’s never the stereo type Indian cinema or Bollywood however a name which travelled the world and crosses all boundaries and set standers to high to be at par when we talk about the serious Indian issues for cinema. Actress who acted in over 30 feature films in ten different languages. Best of her creation and performance lists Fire (1996), Earth (1998), Bawandar (2000), Kannathil Muthamittal (2002), list is huge but not the last Before The Rains (2007). Firaaq, her directorial debut feature film, premiered at the Toronto Film Festival in 2008, and has traveled to over 50 festivals, winning over 20 awards. She has been on the jury of Cannes Film Festival twice. These were her few achievements cannot be skipped while describing her. Nandita Das was the first Indian to be inducted into the International Women's Forum's hall of fame for her contributions to the arts.
The women with so much of success and remarkable achivements rocks the world, however the personal life of lady is not this rocking. Lately she under went split from her 2nd husband Subodh Maskara after being married for seven years. She describes this side of her life as “ relationships have no rules and are "very personal".the actress in an interview to a leading tabloide when asked for question on her personal life she comeup and said "Relationships have no rules.
