As they say, everything happens for a reason, the losing of elections in a consecutive row of 27 in a country hit a long purpose for Rahul Gandhi. Yes, he made it, to the Guinness World Book of records for the said reason.
What not belongs to the young minds? As Financial Express expresses, a student had approached the authorities requesting to enlist the name of latest Gandhi descendent Rahul Gandhi’s name for losing as many as 27 elections in a row in India.
Congress Party President, who never had a rocking phase in election politics, never banked vote numbers to make him a winner, however, had rocking media presence and this news too has fetched him the limelight. Vishal Diwan, who is an engineering student from Hoshangabad Madhya Pradesh, has approached Guinness Book of World Records and requested to enlist Rahul Gandhi’s name for losing as many as 27 elections in the country. Dewan's request is in the process and is not yet confirmed whether his request will be accepted by the Guinness team.
