A.P.J Abdul Kalam, an extraordinary man who came out from a very ordinary family and background. A common man who turned out to be a Missile Man and is the brain behind Belastic missile technology became the 11th President of India in the year 2002.
Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam, better known as A. P. J. Abdul Kalam was the 11th President of India from 2002 to 2007. Honouree of more than a dozen of awards (Bharat Ratna 1997, Padma Vibhushan 1990, Padma Bhushan 1981 and much more). , APJ was Kohinoor on the crown of India to whom India lost in the year 2015 to God.
A statue of Dr. Kalam will be unveiled & PM will flag off ‘Kalam Sandesh Vahini’, an exhibition bus that would travel across various States.

The memorial has been constructed by DRDO in exactly one year. Architecturally, it has taken inspiration from several national landmarks.

Today in the memorial of the "Missile Man" A.P.J Abdul Kalam, the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi will inaugurate the “Memorial Of Abdul Kalam” at Rameshwaram as a mark of his 2nd death anniversary.
