The "Queen Of Katwe" director Mira Nair says you have to be foolishly obsessive
Director Mira Nair is a director who has given Indian cinema many unforgettable stories far ahead of time. The Director never immune to sensitive subjects has expressed lot many issues worldwide routed in India with Indian living in here or NRI's. Mira's projects like Monsoon Wedding, Name Sake Salaam Bombay, had engraved impression over the world audience.
The director living in Uganda for more than 30yrs now has setup Maisha Film Lab, a school with operates in many African countries to train the children to be future artists. In an interview to BBC, Mira talked her heart that how she is working foolishly obsessively for the betterment of the children she encounters. She Said, " a country where their's not much scope of training and yet world talk about the paucity of African stories told by African filmmakers and that was why Misha was born."
Meera's Lates project is Queen Of Katwe, a tale with tells how a girls life was change when she introduced to the game of chess, which shot in Africa and many Maisha's-ex-students were part of the project. Unearthning diamond is what the director is doing is not less than a reward for the director who is working foolishly obsessive. -Window To News
