The pressure is booming on over the media houses for promoting justified information only. Where Facebook and other media houses, in the past had undergone allegation for fostering fake news and fake data, what about floating wrong input over the SM? Taking a head start over to filter the right news form the wrong information twitterites went vigilant as never before.
Today is Mahavir Jayanti and India is celebrating one of the ancient Indian religious Guru's Birth Anniversary, the festival of Jains," Mahavir Jayanti". On occasion, the Congress MP Shashi Tharoor tweeted a picture wishing his followers a ‘Happy Mahavir Jayanti’. However, Twitterati was quick enough to point out that it was the picture of Lord Buddha. Though later Mr Tharoor explained why he went wrong, Tharoor atoned by sharing the source of his knowledge and pointed out that because of this indiscretion. - Window To News
