May 19 (WTN) - Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is celebrating his 44th birthday today. Born in a small village of Muzaffarnagar, Nawazuddin came to Mumbai after completing his acting career in Delhi's National School of Drama in 1996. Here he started the struggle of his life, after which he achieved all time success for which is well known today.
When he was young, Nawaz used to get up at four o'clock in the morning and used to help his father in the field. After that he used to leave for his school.
The first onscreen ad appearance of Nawaz was for Pepsi Sachin Aala Re Campaign. In it he became a laundryman (dhobi). He got Rs 500 for this work.
Even after working in some films in 2004, Nawaz had no money for his livelihood. During this he was living with his senior of NSD. The condition was that Nawaz would cook food for him every day.
Anurag Kashyap's film Gangs of Wasseypur has changed the fate of Nawazuddin. His work was praised in this film and this chance made him a star.
