Swara upset by smoking scenes

May 19 (WTN) - Actor Swara Bhaskar, who plays a role of chainsmoker in the movie 'Veere Di Wedding', has told that after this she will not do smoking on-screen.
Swara had earlier seen in the film 'Anaarkali of Aarah' smoking the hand rolled cigarette (bidi). According to a report, Swara said – “It was so terrible because I had to suffer from smoking side effects like nausea and dizziness”.
Swara said – “Because director Shashanka Ghosh wanted my smoking to look genuine, he often used to tell me that you are not smoking properly. It was a big problem because it was part of my role.
Swara also had to drink a cigar in one of the scenes of the movie, remembering which she said,"It was actually the worst thing I have ever tested in my whole life".
At the end of the shoot of the film, Swara was happy that now she will not have to smoke again. Swara said - "Now I do not want to be a character who smokes. If someone offers me such a character then my answer will be - I don’t need it".
