May 30 (WTN)- Sanjay Dutt’s Productions is making a remake of box office Telugu hit Prasthaanam. Manisha Koirala will play Sanjay Dutt's wife in the movie. Both of them had successful pair in films like Mehbooba , Baaghi , Khauff , Kartoos, Achanak , Sanam .
Manisha Koirala, a cancer survivor herself, plays Nargis Dutt in the film upcoming film Sanju, a Sanjay Dutt biopic. Her performance in the film Bombay was a milestone in her career which won her the Filmfare Award for Best Tamil Actress and Filmfare Critics Award for Best Performance.
The original Prasthaanam was a block buster and had created a lot of buzz in the Telugu industry. Prasthaanam is an intense, thrilling family drama. The movie, on one hand, deals with politics at grass root levels that occur in villages of India, corrupt political system and the nexus between businessmen and politicians. On the other hand, the movie deals with themes like greed, ambition and devotion which are driving forces of the lead characters in this movie.
