Why Tesla not coming to India?

May 31 (WTN)- Tesla is an American auto company that specializes in electric vehicles, The company's Model S was the world's best-selling plug-in electric car in 2015 and 2016. Elon Musk is the founder, CEO, and lead designer of SpaceX co-founder, CEO, and product architect of Tesla.

Tesla is considered to be high end, technologically innovative cars. India too like USA has burgeoning auto market. Elon Musk expressed his desire to bring the company to the country but said "challenging government regulations" were preventing him from doing so at the current time.
