Vogue Arabia features Saudi princess in the driver's seat

June 1 (WTN) - Princess Haifa, daughter of the late Saudi King Abdullah featured in Vogue magazine ahead of June start of driving for Saudi women. This is to mark reforms which will allow women to drive in Saudi Arabia from June 24.

The latest Middle East edition of Vogue features Saudi Princess Hayfa sitting behind the driver's seat of a red convertible on its front cover has also started a debate among the community.

This comes at a time when rights group reported that Saudi detained 11 activists who campaigned for the right for women to drive although four of them - including those who have been have been released.
