June 2 (WTN)- In a country that is still urging people to ‘save’ the girl child and ‘allow’ them an education, female sexuality is a myth at best. Veere Di Wedding breaks the path and has dared to address woman’s sensuality, without making excuses.
Veere Di Wedding, starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania, is about four childhood friends who reunite and realize how their lives have changed. Unfiltered conversations, lots of sarcasm & a strong dose of awesomeness is what the movie is all about.
The film tries to be bold and feministic in its approach. The dialogues as well as some scenes certainly create ripples and the four don’t mince their words either. They are all natural and competent as they lead their lives on their own terms. The movie has started a new trend in Bollywood.
