WTN- In 2007, Shahrukh Khan starrer Chak De! India made headlines inspiring emotional feeling when women hockey team won world cup in the movie. Chitrashi Rawat and Sagarika Ghatge were both a part of the cast.
Chak De! India girls Chitrashi Rawat and Sagarika Ghatge team up again. This time they would not be holding hockey stick. Its football in Milind Ukey's upcoming bilingual film, Monsoon Football. The plot involves middle-class housewives, who take to football as a way out of their dull life.
Sagarika is wife of former Indian cricketer Zaheer Khan. Chitrashi Rawat is a former Indian hockey player, film actress and television presenter. She began playing hockey as a left-striker at the age of 17 for Uttarakhand state in India. Chitrashi has worked in many films and TV serials.
