June 20 (WTN)- The World Cup is barely in the second round of group-play games, and there have already been five occasions when a team has accidentally scored on itself.
This is after year 1998 saw six “own” goals . Own goal is considered when a goal scored by a player accidentally playing the ball into his own team's net.
