June 25 (WTN)- Aseel Al-Hamad of Saudi Arabia will drive the Le Castellet Grand Prix circuit, France, in the 2012 Renault Sport Formula One Team F1 car. This would be a historic moment for Saudi Arabia as Aseel Al-Hamad  is marking the end of Saudi Arabia's longstanding driving ban on female motorists by driving an F1 car ahead of the French Grand Prix. She is an Entrepreneur and board member of the Saudi Arabian Motorsport Federation.

According to Renault , she was given the opportunity to drive a Renault Sport Formula One Team E20 car on the Le Castellet circuit, France, as part of the Renault ‘Passion Parade’ just hours before the start of the first French GP in ten years. It is the very same car former F1 world champion Kimi Raikkonen drove to victory in the 2012 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
