July 3 (WTN)- One of the most successful tennis player is reportedly getting a brand new on-court wardrobe. Roger Federer is said to be leaving his longtime sponsor Nike for a new deal at Uniqlo that will pay him $300 million over 10 years.
Roger Federer walked on Centre Court of Wimbledon wearing Uniqlo. He's officially left Nike despite wearing them all week in practice. Amazing decision. One of the most marketable sportspeople ditching Nike. Federer has been with Nike since 1994.
Federer can sell sponsored patches on his shirt now, which he couldn’t do with Nike.
Federer has won a record eight Wimbledon titles, a joint-record six Australian Open titles, a record five consecutive US Open titles, and one French Open title. He is one of eight men to have captured a career Grand Slam.
