WTN- France won the World Cup for the second time by ending hard-battling Croatia's dream of a first title with a 4-2 victory in an entertaining and action-packed final.
Pogba held a photo of his dad alongside the World Cup trophy. He held the photo of his late father, Fassou Antoine, who passed away last May aged 79.
The shin pad carried a message, in French, translated: "Oh Lord, do not chastise me for what they say. Forgive me for what they do not know and make me better than what they think of me."
He later shared a picture of himself with the shin pad on Twitter and wrote, “Mom and dad, it’s for you!”
