TV show Veera’s producer sentenced 7 years imprisonment for raping actress

July 28 (WTN) - A shocking case has emerged from the world of Television. The producer of the TV show Veera, sentenced to seven years jail by a special women court on Wednesday for raping a 31-year-old woman.
According to the statement given by the victim, worked in the production unit of the TV serial Veera and the producer Mukesh Mishra asked her to reach the Jogeshwari station on December 12, 2012, where a bus was supposed to pick up the artists. When she reached the spot Mukesh Mishra offered her lift on his motorbike.
There was no one at the studio except the sweeper according to the victim. Later she went to her room and was followed by Mishra. Then he raped her and also threatened her to kill her child and defame her if she disclosed the incident to anyone. Mukesh Mishra (33) was found guilty under IPC sections 376 (rape) and 506(II) (criminal intimidation). He was awarded seven years' prison term on July 25, 2018.
