The advertisement created by beauty chain Watson features a black coloured face girl whose singing is stunning and the prince falls in love with her voice, and when seeing her face of demand, had a shocking reaction.
Where the world is parsing brown shade and is trying to overcome the racism factor, such advertisement reflects narrow narrative and is condemned worldwide. Though now the company had put down the commercial however the impact they pitched has a setback. Later the Watsons Malasia apologise for the advertisement and released a statement saying: ‘We are sorry that few of our fans feel offended by the video, which was not our intention, we take feedback from our fans seriously. -Window To News
