Ava DuVernay - 8 Emmy nods for 13TH!

Hollywood is hailing Ava for her commendable writing and direction of the project.Ava DuVernay is a director and producer who is an overlord of documentaries. 13TH one of the documentaries directed by Ava under the production on NETFLIX was released last year on Netflix. The movie title is inspired by the Thirteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution, which outlawed slavery.
Ava’s movie 13TH opens with the idea that, the twenty-five percent of the people in the world who are incarcerated are incarcerated in the US, and urges that slavery is effectively continuing in the US through mass incarceration. The documentary was Oscar-nominated which presents American criminalization and mass incarceration.
