Cluster Beans Masala Curry

Ingredient:

250 gms Cluster beans
2 medium Onions,finely chopped
2 Boiled Potatoes
a sprig of Curry leaves
1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
3 tbsp Oil
Masala to grind:
3 tbsp grated dry Coconut
2 tbsp Fried gram/chutney dal(dalia)
5-6 Red chillies
1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
a small pebble sized Tamarind
Salt to taste

Method:
Wash and trim the edges of cluster beans and chop them fine.
Heat oil in a big kadai and crackle mustard seeds and add urad dal and chana dal and fry for a minute     until   they turn brown.

Add curry leaves and finely chopped onions and fry until the onions are light pink in color.

Add chopped cluster beans and fry well.
Cover it with a deep plate and pour some water over it,steam cook it for 12-15 mins over low flame.

Remove the plate and cook the cluster beans again over medium flame for 5-7 mins.

Mean while grind grated dry coconut with fried gram,tamarind,red chillies,turmeric powder and salt to a coarse powder.

Add Boiled potatoes and the ground masala to the cooked cluster beans and mix well and cook for 2-3 mins.
Serve it hot with rice/roti.
